Biography
Jennifer Gunby is a public policy professional working in the nonprofit energy and environmental sector. She began her career as a civil engineer at an AE consulting firm, spending a decade focused on site development, energy efficiency, and distributed renewable energy. She currently leads state and local policy work for a large national nonprofit, with initiatives centering on building decarbonization strategies that support healthier, more resilient communities.
Jennifer remains deeply engaged in her community, serving on the University of Kansas School of Engineering’s Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering Advisory Board, the Johnson County Sustainability Coalition, the City of Shawnee Code Board of Appeals. Jennifer also served on the Roeland Park City Council from 2011-2015.
