At its meeting on December 11th, the WaterOne Governing Board officially adopted its 2019 operating budget of $119 million. As a part of the budget process, the Board set water rates that will go into effect on January 1, 2019.

The City of Lawrence, Kansas has announced that they will cease discharge of nitrogen-contaminated water into the Kansas River by April 1st, meeting the deadline required by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE).
