Project Description
As our infrastructure continues to age, we proactively replace water mains in conjunction with city projects to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality water service to our community with superior service. WaterOne's contractor Kissick Construction will be upgrading 3,463' of infrastructure along Flint Road between 62nd Terrace and Johnson Drive. The project is coordinated with the City of Shawnee to be completed during their road reconstruction project, in order to avoid unnecessary excavation and maximize ratepayer dollars. WaterOne's work is scheduled to begin in May 2018 and last until July 2018.
This project will temporarily affect traffic along Flint Road, with temporary lane closures within the project limits. Brief interruptions in water service are also possible. We appreciate your patience as we complete this necessary upgrade to your water infrastructure.
