Project Description

As our infrastructure continues to age, we proactively replace water mains to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality water service to our community with superior service. WaterOne will be upgrading infrastructure along Roe Avenue from 57th Street to 51st Street. The project is coordinated with the City of Roeland Park to be completed before scheduled road improvement work, in order to avoid unnecessary excavation and maximize ratepayer dollars. WaterOne's work is scheduled to begin in May 2019 and last until September 2019.

Every effort will be made to minimize disruption and maintain access to neighborhoods adjacent to this project. During portions of the project, both northbound lanes of Roe Boulevard will be closed during the working hours of 7 am to 5 pm with overnight closures of one northbound lane. We appreciate your patience as we complete this necessary upgrade to your water infrastructure.
