Project Description
As our infrastructure continues to age, we proactively replace water mains to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality water service to our community with superior service. WaterOne will be replacing 510 linear feet of 8" distribution main and 270 LF of its 30" Quivira Transmission Main at the intersection of 75th Street and Quivira Road This work is being completed in advance of the City of Shawnee's 75th Street Corridor Capital Improvement Project. The work will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. The full closure of the intersection will be during Spring Break to reduce disruption to local schools. Restoration will be completed in conjunction with the City of Shawnee CIP. Please watch for detours, equipment, and crews in the area. We appreciate your patience while this necessary work is completed.
Traffic Impacts:
- Single lane closures on eastbound and westbound 75th Street (Planned March 7-9)
- Southbound Quivira Road lane closures (Planned March 9-13)
- Full closure of 75th Street and Quivira Road intersection (Planned March 14-20)
