Project Description

Water Main Replacement - Lee Boulevard, 95th to 83rdAs our infrastructure continues to age, we proactively replace water mains to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality water service to our community with superior service. WaterOne will be upgrading infrastructure along Lee Boulevard, from 95th Street to 83rd Street. The project is coordinated with the City of Leawood's Street Reconstruction Project Phases I and II, in order to avoid unnecessary excavation and maximize ratepayer dollars. WaterOne's contractor VF Anderson is scheduled to start work on the water main in Late March, and the project is expected to be complete by November 2021. For more information on the City project, please visit Engineering for the City of Leawood website.

During construction the road will be closed in two phases. The first phase will close 95th to 89th and the second phase will close 89th to 83rd. Traffic should use Mission Road or State Line Road as alternate routes. Please watch for detours, equipment, and crews in the area. We appreciate your patience as we complete this necessary upgrade to your water infrastructure.

Updates will continue to be sent out via NotifyJoCo. Make sure your account is up-to-date at Notify JoCo website.. You can also follow our progress at WaterOne Projects.
