Business Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team.  The Business Analyst will help review, analyze, create, document, and improve business processes through the use of Information Technology applications and systems.

Job Duties:

  • Team with business users to identify and document business requirements and processes.

  • Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs.

  • Analyze existing business process requirements, prepare written specifications, and evaluate and recommend process changes or new processes.

  • Identify and document system deficiencies and work with other IT staff to recommend and implement solutions.

  • Ensure that all documentation accurately reflects the current status of business processes and incorporates all changes.

  • Coordinate or conduct systems testing, including user acceptance testing.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.  Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting these qualifications.

  • Ability to write SQL queries and to work with data analysis tools.

  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills; demonstrated history of exercising good judgment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; must be a good listener.

  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks and to meet deadlines.

  • Thorough knowledge of and competency in Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Experience with enterprise resource planning software such as SAP is a plus.

  • Must pass a post-offer medical exam, including background investigation and a drug screen.
