About WaterOne WaterOne is a quasi-municipal agency that provides water to more than 400,000 individuals. WaterOne’s Administrative Offices are located at 10747 Renner Boulevard, Lenexa, Kansas. We serve residential and commercial accounts in 16 cities in the Johnson County area. We serve approximately 135,000 customers. We have no taxing authority, nor are we a part of Johnson County government. WaterOne’s primary sources of revenue are through water sales and system development charges. We are governed by a seven-member Board. Board members are elected, at large, to four year terms. WaterOne is committed to providing a reliable supply of high quality water at a reasonable cost combined with superior service to its customers. Compensation and Benefits WaterOne strives to remain very competitive in our efforts to attract and retain high quality employees. For our full-time positions, we offer a combination of salary and benefits that is one of the strongest in the area. WaterOne pays 100% of the employee premiums for health, dental, and life insurance, and 70% and 50% of the family premiums for health and dental insurance, respectively.
