WaterOne is a non-profit, non-taxing, community owned water utility.
New Water Service Connection Charge
The new service connection charge covers the cost of materials, labor and overheads for the tap at the water main, and the materials for the meter and meter pit. Cost varies based on the connection type and meter size.
Effective April 1, 2015
All fees subject to change without notice.
Meter size and type are determined by WaterOne. Larger meters will be calculated at the time of Application.
1. Commercial Standard includes $105 CCC Plan Review.
System Development Charge (SDC)
Growth pays for growth. The SDC compensates WaterOne for investments required in water supply, treatment, transmission and distribution facilities. The SDC is paid in addition to the New Service Connection Charge.
Any meter enlargement or meter type upgrade will be subject to an SDC equal to the difference in the current SDCs for the respective meter sizes and types. On multiple metered service connections, the SDC is based on the size and type of each individual meter. Meter sizes or types not listed below will be charged based on the standard meter capacity in gallons per minute (gpm) compared to the 5/8-inch displacement standard meter capacity.
WaterOne determines the most appropriate meter size and type based on the applicant's water usage characteristics and needs.
Fire Line Connection Charges
Fire line connection charges are determined at the time the permit application is made. An estimated fee is shown in the table below. Actual costs at the time of permit application may vary.

The New Water Service Connection Charge and the System Development Charge are valid from 120 days of the issuance of the permit. If the tap has not been made within 120 days, WaterOne reserves the right to cancel, refund, or increase the cost of the permit.
