U.S.S. WaterOne
Teams Up to Fight Cancer Over $7200 Raised WaterOne is participating in the Blue Valley “Relay
for Life” walk sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The event is scheduled for June 13 –14, 7 p.m. to 7a.m. at
the Blue Valley Athletic Complex, 135th Street and Switzer
Road. WaterOne is sponsoring
two teams for this event under the name of “U.S.S. WaterOne.”
A
series of fundraising activities have been held by WaterOne in recent
weeks including bake sales, jeans day, dunk tank, and drawings. These
activities raised over $7200 for the American Cancer Society. Teams raising over $5000 are recognized with a gold club
award. WaterOne coordinators for these events are Guy Lawler, Darci Meece, Donna Nealey and Debbie Carter. |
