WaterOne Redesigns Website, Adds Features

WaterOne’s website has a new look.  The newly designed website was officially launched during the week of July 14, 2003 and was redesigned to make available new features and options for customer convenience and easy navigation, as well as provide more timely information to the public.  The site is at www.waterone.org.

Customers will now be able to pay water bills online using debit/credit cards by selecting Payment Options, under the menu item Customer Service.   Other new features include simple on-line forms for Water Service On or Off, Change of Customer Information; Seminar Enrollment; or to participate in a Lawn Irrigation Audit.  There is also an on-line form for customers interested in joining Aquamatic, WaterOne’s free direct payment service.   Buttons on the left side of the screen allow customers to find major categories of information.  If the mouse hovers over one of the categories, options under that category are displayed.

This is the first major revision of www.waterone.org since it first went on-line in 1999.  Since then the utility has received numerous requests for added features, particularly on-line payment options.  The majority of the website’s redesign work has been handled in-house by the utility’s Information Systems and Communication Departments.

WaterOne’s goal is to continue to make its website convenient and informative.  Besides the new features, customers can still take advantage of reviewing customer service and water quality information, water saving tips, Board Meeting agendas, and news on water main projects.
