November 19, 2003 WaterOne’s Director of Production Elected President of MO-ARK WaterOne is proud to announce that Tom Schrempp, Director of Production, was elected President of the Missouri-Arkansas Basins Association (MO-ARK) on November 7, 2003. Schrempp has been representing the utility as a member of MO-ARK since 1991. In the past, he has served as Vice President as well as a Board member for the organization. Shrempp will serve as President for one-year, with the possibility of re-election. MO-ARK is an organization that supports the management of the Missouri River for all of the beneficial uses of the river. MO-ARK’s membership is made up of individuals from utilities, governments, agricultural organizations and navigational interests. There are currently 68 members in MO-ARK, and the organization has generated bipartisan support for its issues. As MO-ARK’s president, Schrempp will provide leadership in various water management projects and issues that affect the basin. He will continue to provide on-going input on the Corps of Engineers’ Master Manual, which is currently in the process of being revised. He will also represent MO-ARK’s interest at public meetings and will continue to promote their causes across the country.
