Boil Order Lifted
April 19, 2002

A boil water order that was issued yesterday, April 18, for customers in northeast Johnson County has been lifted.  WaterOne of Johnson County has lifted the order after all tests confirmed that no contamination occurred.

The boil water order was issued yesterday as a result of a 24” main break at 67th and Antioch.  The boil order was issued as a precautionary measure to ensure that contamination had not occurred when water pressures reached zero throughout a wide spread area.

The water main break was caused by corrosion.
