August 22, 2005 Larry Rosenow retired from WaterOne as its Director of Finance on August 1, 2005. Rosenow served in this position since 1992 and was a 40-year employee of WaterOne. The WaterOne Board passed a resolution at its July Board Meeting recognizing Rosenow for his leadership through the years, including the instrumental role he played in helping the utility achieve its bond rating of AAA. Rosenow is a resident of Overland Park. Ron Appletoft has been named as the
utility’s new Director of Finance, replacing Rosenow. Appletoft is a
25-year employee of WaterOne and served as its Auditing Manager before
assuming the Director of Finance role. He also served as the utility’s
Governmental Affairs Coordinator since 1999. He is a 2004 graduate of
Leadership Kansas. Appletoft
is a resident of Mission and formerly served on its City Council. |
