Elects Chairman and Vice-Chairman; The Governing Board of WaterOne elected a Chairman and Vice-Chairman at its May 12 Board Meeting. Bob Reese was elected Board Chairman and Rob Olson was re-elected as Vice-Chairman. Reese replaces Terry Frederick who served as Board Chairman from 2005-2009. Reese was first elected to the Water Board in 1993. He served as Board Chairman from 2001-2003, and as Vice-Chairman from 1997 to 2001. Committees he has chaired include the Finance Committee, Administrative Committee, and Retirement Committee. Reese is a resident of Prairie Village and is employed by Burns & McDonnell. Olson was elected to the Water Board in 1995 and has served as Vice-Chairman for the past four years. Committees he has chaired include the Administrative and Legislative Affairs Committees. Olson resides in Olathe and is also a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, District 26. Board Members Bob Reese, Jim Vader, and Brenda Cherpitel were re-elected to the Board on April 7, 2009. Bob Reese, Brenda Cherpitel and Jim Vader took the oath of office in May. Water Board members are elected to 4 year terms.
