WaterOne Hires New Director
of WaterOne is pleased to announce the hiring of Colleen Browne, to serve as the utility’s new Director of Human Resources & Administration. Browne fills the vacancy left by Tom Holmes, who retired from the position in September after 15 years of employment with the utility. Browne began her new position on October 8, 2007. Browne has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field. Prior to joining WaterOne, she was employed by the City of Leawood where she served for 5 years as Human Resource Director. Her previous employment also includes serving as Director of Human Resources for Yellow Services and consulting Browne holds a B. S. in Personnel Administration and Business Communications from the University of Kansas, and a M.S. in Human Resource Development and Organizational Design from Pittsburg State University. She is also a graduate of Stanford University’s Strategic Human Resources Executive Program. She is currently serving as the President of the International Public Management Association of KC. Browne resides in Leawood with her husband, Mike, and her two daughters. |
