WaterOne Releases 2017 Water Quality Report
WaterOne has released its 2017 Water Quality Report, now available at waterone.org/2017Report. Acknowledging increased public awareness of the importance of water quality, WaterOne is pleased to report that its water meets or exceeds all standards for safe and high quality water, and that water produced by WaterOne consistently ranks among the best for purity, reliability, and taste.
“This report is essentially a nutritional label for the one product people consume more of than any other,” says Dale Tapp, Regulatory Coordinator for WaterOne’s state-of-the-art water quality lab. The WaterOne lab runs over 25,000 tests each year on more than 16,000 water samples to ensure that its water meets quality standards.
The Annual Water Quality Report features detailed information and explanations about the make-up of WaterOne’s water in 2016. Explanations of WaterOne’s treatments methods, production volume, and water sources are also provided. Landlords, businesses, schools, and other groups with water users who do not receive a bill directly from WaterOne are encouraged to make their stakeholders aware of the report’s availability. Paper reports will be available at most Johnson County Library locations and WaterOne Administrative Offices, located at 10747 Renner Boulevard in Lenexa.
