Project Review Requirements

Please be aware a plumbing system must be brought up to current WaterOne requirements whenever plumbing work is being performed on a new project, addition or remodel.

Please submit the following:

· Contact name, company name, address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address:

  • Owner

  • Architect

  • Engineer

  • General Contractor

  • Plumber

  • Fire Sprinkler Contractor

·  Site utility plan showing:

  • Domestic water service connection to WaterOne’s public main

  • Fire protection service line connection to WaterOne’s public main, any private

  • fire hydrants and the Fire Department siamese connection

  • Any other external water lines

  • Any proposed backflow preventer

·  Internal plumbing plans showing:

  • All hot and cold water lines

  • All water using fixtures

  • Any proposed backflow preventers and their location

  • Fire protection riser and main drain assemble and discharge line

Information should be submitted a minimum of 10 working days prior to needing approval. Projects that have extensive internal plumbing and/or water using fixtures should allow additional review time.

 

New service permits will not be released until Distribution Water Quality & New Service Department has received the signed Project Letter document from the Owner.
