CCC Program - Minimum Clearances For
Backflow Prevention Assemblies

Install with a minimum of 6 inches clearance in all directions around the assembly.

Install with a minimum of 12 inches clearance in all directions around the assembly and a minimum of 24 inches of clearance in front of the assebly, where testing and repair are performed.

Must meet the additional requirement of 12 inches above the highest point of water use downstream of the backflow preventer.
