The following
action was taken at the Board Meeting on April 13, 2010.
Creation of
Refund at 87th Street Parkway West of Renner Boulevard
The Board has delayed taking action on a resolution authorizing creation
of a Refund Area for 8-inch distribution mains between the established
and westbound lanes of the future realigned 87th Street
Parkway West of Renner Boulevard (Project TD-09079) until a future date.
Creation of
Refund at Johnson Drive & Roe
The Board adopted a resolution
authorizing creation of a Refund Area for approximately 425 linear feet
of 8-inch distribution main, along Roeland Drive from Martway Street to
W. 60th Terrace (Project TD-10002. The Refund Area is bound
Shawnee Mission Parkway, Roeland Drive , Johnson Drive, Roe Avenue.
Change Order to Projects
The Board approved a change order in the amount of $56,280.03 for
Projects MP-05322 and MP-05323. These two projects represent
approximately two thirds of the 17-mile 60 inch finished water pipeline
and the 60-inch well water pipeline for Phase V.
Amendment to Projects
The Board approved an amendment to the Burns & McDonnell Agreement for
Engineering Services to provide additional Design and Bid Phase Services
for Project MP-05252 – 36-inch Transmission Main along 175th
Street from Ridgeview Road to Lackman Road and Project MP-06003 – SE
Crouthers Receiving Reservoir and Pump Station – 147th Street
and Nall Avenue. The estimated cost to perform these additional services
is $171,347.00 and the total combined billing limit would be increased
by this amount.

Appropriate Property - Project MP-05004
The Board adopted a resolution
for Project MP-05004 – 159th & Hedge Lane Pumping Station &
Reservoir Site Acquisition.
Resolution to
Appropriate Property - Project MP-09007
The Board adopted a resolution
for Project MP-09007 – Elevated Tank at K-10 and K-7 Site Acquisition.
Amendment to
Interlocal Agreement with City of Leawood
The Board adopted a resolution
approving an Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with the City of
Leawood.
Revised
Interlocal Agreement with the City of Bonner Springs
The Board revoked the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Bonner
Springs and WaterOne dated May 13, 2008. The Agreement was revised and
the Board approved the revised agreement.
