The following action was taken at the Board Meeting on February 10, 2009.

REVISIONS TO RULE V, SECTION 5

The Board approved revisions to Rule V. Section 5, Paragraph D of WaterOne’s Rules & Regulations regarding trip charges related to discontinuance/restoration of water services.

PURCHASE OF FACILITY 1 SERVICE PUMPS
The Board approved the purchase of Facility 1 High Service Pump Nos. 3 & 6 
replacements for Job No. AC-09919 from Letts, Van Kirk & Associates, in the amount of $326,132.00.

AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR PROJECT MP-09008
The Board awarded a contract for Project MP-09008, Installation of Kansas
Presed Traveling Screen No. 4 to Foley Company, in the amount of $40,300.00.

ACQUISITION  OF EASEMENTS
         The Board adopted a Resolution authorizing acquisition of easements by     
         Eminent Domain near Johnson Dr. & K-7 for Project RA-08004, a 12” Main  
         Relocation.

CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR PROJECT MP-05324
The Board approved Change Order No. 1 for Project MP-05324, Kansas River Tunnel, allowing a reduction in retainage from $667,636.10 to $150,000.

CHANGE ORDER NO. 6
The Board approved Change Order No. 6 for Projects MP-05322 & MP-05323, which increases the contract amount by $177,801.54, and extends the contract time by two days.
