The following action was taken at the Board Meeting on February 12, 2008

 

Addendum to Service Contract

The Board approved an Addendum to the Service Contract with ING Life Insurance & Annuity Company to extend the contract with ING through December 31, 2012.

Reservation of Funds

The Board directed staff to reserve $1,200,000 from the System Development Fund to the Master Plan Phase V Reserves.

Award of Contract

The Board awarded the contract for Project MP-15004, Residuals Monofill No. 8, Hansen Treatment Plant, to Dirt Wurx Excavating, LLC., the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, in the amount of $917,617.00.

Amendment No. 31

The Board approved Amendment No. 31 to the Black & Veatch Four-Year Capital Improvements Program and General Engineering Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Assistance, Construction Phase Services and Resident Services for Project MP-07002, Residual Monofill No 1A, Facility 3.  The estimated cost to perform these services is $85,750.00.

Change Order No. 3

The Board approved Change Order No. 3 to Project MP-05001, Kansas River Jetty Improvements, for an increase in the contract amount of $38,603.15 with Kissick Construction Co.
