Extension of Banking Agreement
The Board approved an extension agreement from Commerce Bank to extend WaterOne’s current Principal Banking Agreement, for the period August 1, 2007 through August 31, 2009.

Board Policies
The Board adopted Board Policy No. 11, Subjects Requiring Board Approval, adding the Bond & Operating Fund Investment Policy

The Board adopted Board Policy No. 34, Negative Cash Flow Reserves to provide financial liquidity during low cash flow months, normally the months of January through June each year.

Right-Of-Way Agreement
The Board approved an Agreement Between WaterOne and the City of Merriam for Managing the Use and Occupancy of Public Right-Of-Way.

Leavenworth Water Resolution
The Board adopted a Resolution with Leavenworth Water stating that WaterOne does not intend to serve any customers in Leavenworth County nor does WaterOne intend to dispose of municipal water treatment residues in Leavenworth County other than in the planned monofills being built on WaterOne property.

Mutual Aid Agreement
The Board approved the Regional Public Works Mutual Aid Agreement – Metropolitan Kansas City, to provide a pre-established agreement for mutual aid in times of crisis around the metro area.

Change Order
The Board approved a Change Order to the contract with Kissick Construction Co. for Project MP-05001 in the amount of $29,186.00 and authorized the GM to execute the Change Order for work associated with Project MP-06007 – Facility 3 (Phase V) Water Treatment Plant.

Lease Agreement
The Board approved the Agricultural Lease Agreement with Knetter Farms, Inc. for farming of WaterOne property in Wyandotte County, Kansas in the area of 74^th & Douglas.

Resolution for Dick Weisser
The Board passed a resolution recognizing Dick Weisser’s years of service and contributions to the utility, and to let him know his presence has been missed at recent meetings due to illness.
