Adoption of Board
Policy
The Board adopted Board Policy No. 33 , Rate Stabilization Reserve (RSR).
The RSR will be used after all other funding avenues have been
evaluated, to address unforeseen revenue shortfalls.
Amendment to
Board Policy
The Board approved amendments to Board Policy No. 27, Consultant Review,
to include Defined Benefit Plan Actuary to its list of Consultants.
Water Main
Extension Contract
The Board awarded a two-year contract for the 2007 – 2008 Water Main
Extension Contract to Miller Paving and Construction, LLC, the lowest,
qualified, responsible and responsive bidder in the amount of
$7,142,746.50, which is based on estimated quantities.
Award of Contract
The Board awarded a contract for a 47th Street 30”
Transmission Main Replacement to the lowest, qualified, responsible and
responsive bidder in the amount of $556,788.50 and ratified the purchase
of the pipe material from American Cast Iron Pipe Company in the amount
of $157,563.56 which is based on estimated quantities.
Amendment to
Black & Veatch Engineering Services AgreementThe
Board approved an Amendment to the Four-Year Black & Veatch Capital
Improvements Program and General Engineering Services Agreement to
perform Resident Phase Services for the replacement of approximately
2,150 linear feet of 30-inch transmission main along 47th
Street West of Antioch Road. The estimated costs to perform these
services are $45,000.
Award of Contract
The Board awarded the Facility 1 Miscellaneous Improvements and the
Replacement of Elevated Tank Control Valves to Pyramid Excavation &
Construction, Inc., the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive
bidder in the amount of $567,500.00.
