Approval of Reservations
The Board reserved $1,900,000 from the System Development Fund to Master Plan Phase V Reserves.

Selection of External Auditor
The Board approved McGladrey & Pulley LLP (McGladrey) as the accounting firm to perform the annual examination of WaterOne’s financial statements for the years ending December 31, 2006, 2007 and 2008.  The continuation of McGladrey for the three-year period will be dependent on a satisfactory annual evaluation of their performance. 

Acquisition of Easements
The Board adopted a resolution authorizing acquisition of necessary easements by Eminent Domain for Project MP-05018, 30-Inh transmission main at Metcalf Avenue, 199^th Street to 211^th Street Pumping Station.

Amendment Approval
The Board approved an Amendment to Black & Veatch Three-Year Capital Improvements Program and General Engineering Services Agreement for additional services.

Award of Contract
The Board awarded the contract for the Missouri River Facilities and Facility 2 Adjustable Frequency Drive Replacement and Harmonic Mitigation, to Huxtable & Associates, Inc., the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive bidder.

Amendment Approval
The Board approved an Amendment to Black & Veatch Four-Year Capital Improvements Program and General Engineering Services Agreement for construction phase services for the Missouri River Facilities and Facility 2 Adjustable Frequency Drive Replacement and Harmonic Mitigation.

Change Directive
The Board authorized a Work Change Directive to the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, for the replacement of approximately 3100 linear feet of 36” transmission main along 51^st Street, from Quivira Drive to Black Swan Drive for Project TD-05014.  The estimated cost for the Change Directive is $472,000.

Purchase of 36” Ductile Iron Pipe
The Board authorized the GM to issue a Purchase Order to American Cast Iron Pipe, Co., the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, from bids received on January 4, 2006, for approximately 3,100 linear feet of 36-inch ductile iron pipe and appurtenances for Project TD-05014. 

Acquisition of EasementsThe Board adopted a resolution authorizing acquisition of necessary easements by Eminent Domain for Project TD-05014, 36-inch transmission main relocation, 51^st Street, Quivira Drive (Pflumm Road) to Black Swan Drive.
