System Development Fund

The Board directed staff to reserve $1.7 from the System Development Fund for partial funding of Phase V and Other Master Plan Projects.

Project 301

The Board awarded the contract for Project 301 – New Service Connection Installation Adjustments of McGarrah Construction Company, the qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, in the amount of $137,090, based on estimated quantities for a two year period.

Project 302

The Board awarded a two-year contract for Project 302 – 2005-2006 Water Main Extension Contract for the installation of water mains for developer driven projects and District Capital General Improvement projects to Miller Paying and Construction, LLC, the lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive bidder in the amount of $5,802.650.46.

Change Order
The Board approved a change order for the Replacement SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) System Software & Core Hardware in the amount of $49,250.00.

Chlorine Dioxide Generators
The Board authorized the General Manager to accept Altiva’s proposal to provide chlorine dioxide generator equipment, chemical, and technical services in the amount of $199,600.00 for the equipment and $0.31 per pound of chemical and technical services for a three-year period.

Project 270

The Board approved a work change directive to Project 270 (Phase IVB) – Kansas River Facilities Capacity Improvements & Project 271-A (Phase V) –  Kansas River and Facility 1 Supply and Treatment Improvements.

Amendment to Services
The Board approved an amendment to the Black & Veatch agreement for Engineering Services for Three Year Capital Improvements Program and General Engineering Services to Assist District Staff with Design and Construction Phase Services associated with Facility 1 High Service Pump Switchgear Replacement, Project 310.

Phase V Collector Well Site

The Board adopted a resolution authorizing the acquisition to finalize and execute the contract for the purchase of said real property as well as any documents necessary to finalize the closing of said real property.
