Project 270
The Board awarded a contract for Project
270 – Kansas River Facilities Improvements & Project 271A-Kansas River
and Facility 1 Supply and Treatment Improvements to the lowest,
qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, CAS Construction, Inc, in
the amount of $9,149,000.00.
Amendment to Services
The Board approved an
amendment to the Black & Veatch Three Year Capital Improvements Program
and General Engineering Services Agreement to perform Construction Phase
Services and Resident Services during Construction for Project 270 and
Project 271A. The estimated cost to perform these services is $637,000.
Acquisition of
Easements
The Board adopted a
resolution authorizing access to private property and acquisition of the
necessary easements by negotiations for:
Project 279 – approximately 3800 linear feet of 20-inch
Transmission Main from 131st Street & Quivira Rd. to 135th
Street & Nieman Rd.
Project 282 – approximately 4500 linear feet of 16-inch
Distribution Main along 135th St. from Nieman Rd. to Switzer
Rd.
Project
283 – approximately 4500 linear
feet of 12-inch Distribution Main along 135th St. from
Switzer Rd. to Antioch & along Switzer Rd. from 133rd St. to
135th St.
Project
284 – approximately 16,000 linear
feet of 42-inch Transmission Main along 135th St. from
Quivira Rd. to Metcalf.
