July 8, 2003 The Board approved reservation of $2.2 million
System Development Funds for partial funding of Phase V and Other Master
Plan Projects. Project 274 The Board awarded a contract for Project 274
(Contract 1) – Missouri River Intake Low River Pumping Improvements to
the lowest qualified, responsible and responsive bidder, JCI
Corporation, in the amount of $357,851. Interlocal Agreement The Board approved an Interlocal Agreement with
City of Lenexa for the installation of 16” & 12” main, a tunnel under
K-7 for a 30” main which will provide service to a portion of WaterOne’s
western service area. Wholesale Water Purchase Agreement The Board approved a Wholesale Water Purchase
Agreement and Interlocal Agreement with the City of Spring Hill for
Woodland Ridge Subdivision. The Interlocal Agreement addresses water
service boundaries between WaterOne and Spring Hill. The Wholesale
Water Purchase Agreement establishes conditions for WaterOne’s purchase
of wholesale water from Spring Hill to serve the subdivision. Employee Handbook The Board approved a revision to the Employee
Handbook, 1.4 – Disqualification for Employment, Anti-Nepotism.
Full-time and part-time applicants would be disqualified if they are
related to a WaterOne employee. This does not affect temporary/summer
employees. Current employees with an existing relationship are
grandfathered. Board Policy The Board approved Board Policy No. 32 – Board
Member ID and Building Access. |
